Artwork entering CG Boost Prompted Challenge: Mushroom House (Sept.2020)

The mushroom I chose is called "Rhodotus." In the scene, the dwarf on the leaf boat is returning to his home after the flood caused by the storm.

When I was brainstorming about the mushroom house prompt, I thought about the Harvey Hurricane I experienced two years ago. So I decided to make the mushroom a huge home, or shelter. I choose Rhodotus fungus as my reference because it looks unique compare to the platonic form of mushrooms that existed in our heads. I want the mushroom to look huge and safe, so I use the orange lights shined through the round windows to enforce that idea.
